Nora MacLeod

Nora MacLeod is a third year textiles, ceramics, and printmaking student at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) whose primary work focuses on knitwear and weaving. MacLeod is influenced by her interests in sculpture, fiber craft, architecture, and even engineering and mathematics. She also held a summer internship with Brooklyn designer, Caitlin Mociun, where she produced some hand knitted pieces for the Fall 2009 collection. Nora has created hand knitted and woven necklaces for Pour Porter and also collaborated with fellow RISD student, Elsinore Smidth-Carabetta, on the felt necklaces.
